On January 5th, we will be starting a New Sermon Series from the Book of Genesis.  We are going to be looking into the Creation Narrative and some of the Great Stories from the early chapters of the Book of Genesis- the first book of the Bible.  Hope you can join us as we examine the Creative Power and Authority of the Creator!

A Great Day At Mifflinburg Nazarene!

We had such a great day today!  Our Church family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner and we hosted a Nazarene Missionary, Bob Prescott.  Bob grew up many years ago in the pre-Castro era in Cuba and has been able to return there in the past couple of years and be involved in planting churches and helping the Church there.  Amazing things are happening in Cuba in the Church and we were blessed to hear the story!

Church Family Thanksgiving Dinner and Missions Day

Sunday, November 24th is a Very Special Day for our Church.  We will be hosting a Nazarene Missionary, Bob Prescott who has worked extensively in Cuba.  In both of our services (9:00 and 10:30), Bob will be sharing exciting stories  about the work of the Church of the Nazarene around the Carribean.  He has made many trips to Cuba and has been organizing Teams of Nazarenes to go there to minister and to help build churches.  This is also the day that our Church eats together…

Sunday Worship With The Penn View Choir

I am looking forward to a great Sunday Morning Service with the Penn View College Choir and Orchestra at Mifflinburg Nazarene. Our combined service will be at 10:30. Hope to see you then!

Great Truth of the Christian Faith

This Sunday, we will be continuing our look at the great book of Romans – and especially God’s formula for how we are supposed to live as Christians. ‘The just shall live by faith’ comes first from the book of Habakkuk and then from Romans 1:17 and has been a great bridge for Christians of every century to understand the Gospel. This statement brought to life for Martin Luther, the great Reformer of the Church the core of God’s Grace…

Roman Truth

I am so excited about our Worship Service tomorrow. It is Baby Day! And to think – that we have a grandson to celebrate on Baby Day! I am also looking forward to starting a new Sermon Series from the Book of Romans. There are so many amazing things to learn from Romans and I have been enjoying thinking about our services for the next couple of months. Hope you can join us as we go to the great City…

People Of Praise

Great anticipation for Worship on Sunday. What a great privilege it is for God’s people to Praise Him. Genuine Praise is a response of those who are grateful for the Presence of God in their lives. Come and join us on Sunday as we celebrate God’s goodness and love.

The Seventh Church

The Church at Laodicea is the Seventh and Final Church that Jesus Speaks to in The Book of Revelation. We have studied the Words of Jesus to the other Six Churches and His Deep words of Encouragement and Promises, as well as His Warnings and Judgment. Because the Church at Laodicea had become Lukewarm, Jesus describes them as Poor, Blind, and Naked. He also tells them that he is standing at the door of their hearts and wants to come…

The Church at Philadelphia

In the Letters to the Churches, Jesus gives some beautiful descriptions of heaven and what God has planned for all of eternity for those who remain true to their faith. The mysteries of heaven gives us a lot to ponder and speculate about – but always knowing that “no eye has seen, nor ear has heard, nor mind conceived what God hath prepared for those who love Him” For the Church at Philadelphia, Jesus blesses them for their hard work…

The Church at Sardis

Does God care about your good works? If you are not sure, ask the Church at Sardis in the 3rd chapter of the Book of Revelation. It was there that Jesus spoke words of strong rebuke for a church that appeared to be alive but was nearly dead. He said to them that their deeds were incomplete and they needed to wake up. Do you believe that God is pleased with your life and your service to him? Come to…
