3/2,9,16,23, & 30– After School program each Wednesday beginning @ 3:30-6:30pm @ the youth house. Beginning @ 6:30pm Reality Student Ministries begins until 8:00pm @ the youth house. At 7:00pm our Adult Bible Study meets in the sanctuary and also Caravan, directed by Caterina Bartholomew, is held in the lower level of the church.
3/5- Our W & W Team will be leaving for Cuba thru March 15th. We are asking for your prayers for safety in travel, safety on the job and that their ministry would be fruitful.
3/5- Our “8th” Wildgame Dinner will be held in the church fellowship hall beginning @ 5:00pm. Our guest speaker is, Pastor Paul Sheets, senior pastor @ Port Ann Wesleyan Church.
3/6– Combined Service beginning @ 10:30am. All Sunday School Classes will meet @ 9:00am, as scheduled. Our evening service begins @ 6:00pm. Small groups will also be meeting.
3/11- Scrapbooking & Scripture in the FH from 6:00pm until ?
3/12- Scrapbooking & Scripture in the FH from 9:00am-5:00pm.
3/13- Regular schedule of services @ 9:00am & 10:30am. We will not be having an evening. We will be joining with Crossroads Church of the Nazarene @ 7:00pm for Simulcast, Tragedy Into Triumph. Scott Strawberry will be sharing, “Addiction.”
3/14- Simulcast @ Crossroads Nazarene @ 7:00pm, “Tragedy Into Triumph,” Taya Kyle, on Loss.
3/15- Simulcast @ Crossroads Nazarene @ 7:00pm. “Tragedy Into Triumph,” Scott Rigsby, on Adversity.
3/16- Simulcast @ Crossroads Nazarene @ 7:00pm, “Tragedy Into Triumph,” Abby Johnson on Abortion. Our regular Adult Bible Study will also be held in the sanctuary of our church @ 7:00pm.
3/17- Church Board Meeting @ 7:00pm.
3/19- Quizzing Practice @ Selinsgrove Nazarene @ 10:00am. Our Faith Promise weekend begins @ 6:00pm in the fellowship hall with an informal time with our missionary, Jung Mo Koo & family. We will also have a time of refreshments.
3/20- Faith Promise combined service @ 10:30, with Jung Mo Koo & his family. Our annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held immediately following our 10:30am service. All 9:00am Sunday School classes will meet as scheduled. The church is invited to a mission dinner to be held in the fellowship hall @ Noon. Meat will be provided by our Mission Council. If planning to attend please bring a covered dish & a dessert to share. Join us for our 6:00pm evening service followed by our Church Family fellowship & game night @ 7:00pm.
3/25- Good Friday Communion Service @ 7:00pm.
3/27- Our Easter Celebration Service during our combined service @ 10:30am. All 9:00am Sunday School classes will meet as scheduled. Our evening service begins @ 6:00pm.
As we celebrate Easter this month, we read in I Peter 1:3(NIV), PRAISE BE TO THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! IN HIS GREAT MERCY HE HAS GIVEN US NEW BIRTH INTO A LIVING HOPE THROUGH THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD.
