6/17- We will not be having our regular Wednesday evening schedule. Our VBS begins Monday evening, June 15th & continues thru Friday, June 19th. Our theme is Everest, “Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power.” VBS is held each evening from 6:30-8:30pm. To register go online or contact Lee & Elisabeth Snook @ (570) 922-0049.
6/5 & 6- Scrapbooking & Scripture will be held at the home of Ginny Snook. Friday evening begins @ 6:00pm-?, and Saturday will be held from 9:00am-5:00pm. With questions contact Ginny @ (570) 922-1850.
6/7- We will be having a Combined Service beginning @ 10:30am. All 9:00am Sunday School classes will meet as scheduled. Pastor Krell will be starting a new sermon series on “The Life of Lot.” We will have our regular scheduled evening service beginning @ 6:00pm followed by our church family fellowship @ 7:00pm in the fellowship hall. Small groups & Venture crew will also be meeting @ 6:00pm. Our Children’s School’s Out Sleepover will be held Sunday evening thru Monday morning @ 11:00am. If you are planning to attend the fellowship bring a favorite side dish to share. The meal will feature desserts prepared by the children. Children’s Ministries will provide salad style sandwiches.
6/11- Our Widows, Widowers, Senior Singles, & Caregivers will be meeting at the church @ 11:00am and traveling by van to the “Bread of Life” Restaurant in McAlisterville for lunch. After lunch you will be stopping at the “Abundant Living” Thrift Store. If planning to attend please sign up or call Betty Troutman @ (570) 966-0112 no later then Sunday, June 7th.

6/24- Our Kid’s Summer program officially begins @ 7:00pm under the direction of Debbie Krell.

Looking Ahead: July 13th-17th our Youth Group will be doing Hometown Missions. If you have small jobs that you just can’t complete, contact the church office @ (570) 966-0852, and give your information and needs. Someone will get back to you.
Now that school is out for the summer, we trust that all grandparents will enjoy their grandchildren. A young grandson called his grandmother to wish her a “Happy Birthday.” He asked how old she was and she told him, “80.” He was quiet for a moment and then he asked, “Did you start at 1?”
