5/1-  We are observing the National Day of Prayer with a Prayer Walk beginning @ 12:00Noon @ The First Lutheran Church, Mifflinburg, until 1:00pm.  You are invited to join our church family @ 7:00pm in the sanctuary for a time of prayer.

5/4-  Join us as we begin our Spring Revival with Pastor Aaron Benner, during our combined service @ 10:30am.  All 9:00am Sunday School classes will meet as scheduled.  Revival services will continue @ 6:00pm.  Pastor Benner will be with us Monday-Wednesday @ 7:00pm.

5/4-5/11- Be in prayer for our W & W Team as they travel to Honduras to Work & Witness.  Team members are, Dennis Snook, Tim Carr, Daryl Yount, & Jeff Yount.

5/7- After-School program beginning @ 3:15pm.  Reality Student Ministry will be meeting @ 7:00pm in the sanctuary for our revival service.  3rd-6th grade Caravan classes will also be meeting in the sanctuary for revival.  All other Caravan classes will meet in their classrooms as scheduled.

5/8- VBS work evening in the fellowship hall from 6:00-8:00pm

5/9 & 5/10- Scrapbooking & Scripture at the home of Ginny Snook.  5/9, 6:00pm-?, and 5/10, 9:00am-5:00pm.  With questions contact Gin @ (570)922-1850.

5/11- Regular schedule of services 9:00am Connections Service & Sunday School & 10:10-10:30am Church Family Fellowship in the fellowship hall.  At 10:30am join us for our Celebration Service & also several Sunday School classes meet. We want to wish our “Mothers” a very  “Happy Mothers Day.”

5/13-Ladies Banquet by reservation only, beginning @ 6:30pm in the fellowship hall.  All paid reservations must be made by Monday, May 5th, to Jenn Adamo, Kathy Umbel, or Rachel Goss in the church office.  We trust that you will be able to join us for a night of dinner, fellowship, music, & encouragement.  Our guest speaker is Debbie Davenport sharing about “The Heart of God.”  Cost is $10.00 for adults, 4-10 years $5.00, & 3 & under free.  Dinner includes, Boneless Oven Fried Chicken, Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Baby Red Potatoes, Brocolli Salad, Baked Corn, and Dessert.

5/14, 5/21 & 5/28- After-School program beginning @ 3:15pm-6:45pm followed by Youth Group.  Beginning @ 7:00pm our Adults will meet for Bible Study in the sanctuary and all Caravan classes will meet in their classrooms as scheduled.  The final evening for the 2013-2014 season for  Reality Student Ministry & Caravan is Wednesday evening 5/28.  Watch for more information for summer programs.

5/15- Church Board Meeting @ 7:00pm

5/16- Prime Time activity in the fellowship hall beginning @ 6:00pm with Tim Martin of our church family sharing his testimony.  At 7:00pm we will be having a Taco Salad Bar, Dessert, & Drinks.  Sign up at the Prime Time Table in the foyer or contact Lena Susan @ (570)966-1480 to RSVP.  We are asking that the pre-pay cost of $5.00 be paid in advance to Ruth Styers.

5/18- Regular schedule of services AM & PM.  During our AM service we will be presenting the Bresee Award to honor the Caravan Students who have met all requirements. Small groups will also be meeting.

5/19-Men’s prayer group @ 7:00pm.

5/20-VBS Work evening from 6:00-8:00pm in the fellowship hall.

5/25- Combined service @ 10:30am with the Penn View College Choir & Orchestra.  All 9:00am Sunday School classes will meet as scheduled.

5/26-  Have a Safe & Happy Memorial Day.  Take a moment to remember all our servicemen who served their country and are no longer with us.

5/31- VBS Workday 10:00am-2:00pm in teh fellowship hall.

Continue to watch for God-sightings.  Share the “Good News” with someone.
