It is hard to believe that March is upon us!! The Mifflinburg Church of the Nazarene is Alive & Well!!
3/5, 12, 19 & 26- After-School program beginning @ 3:15-6:45pm @ the youth House. Youth group begins @ the Youth House @ 6:45pm. Jr. High Adult Leaders are: Terri Duke, Reva Herrold, & Phil Edinger. Sr. Adult Leaders are: Mike Herrold, & Brooks & Nancy Zechman. Support staff is Tyler Bergenstock & Emily Smith.
3/5, 12, 19, & 26- (7:00pm) Adult Bible Study in the sanctuary. Our Caravan group also meets @ 7:00pm in their respective rooms under the leadership of Caterina Bartholomew.
3/7 & 8- Scrapbooking & Scripture. Friday session begins @ 6:00pm in the fellowship hall and Saturday session is from 9:00am-5:00pm. With questions contact Gin Snook @ (570)922-1850.
3/8- SPRING AHEAD!! Daylight Saving Time begins. Turn your clocks ahead (1) hour, Saturday evening.
3/9- Regular schedule of services AM/PM. All Sunday School classes will be meeting at their scheduled times.
3/13- Church Board Meeting @ 7:00pm
3/14- Ladies game night in the fellowship hall from 7:00-9:00pm. Bring a game of your choice & also a snack & drink to share.
3/15- Prime Time activity @ 6:00pm in the fellowship hall. DVD’s of Ken Davis & Friends will be shown. Come expecting to laugh!! Homemade Ice Cream & Snacks will follow. Invite a freind. For more information contact Lena Susan @ (570)966-1480.
3/16- Regular schedule of services AM/PM. Small groups will also be meeting. A Work & Witness luncheon will follow the 10:30am worship service. If you have ever been on a W & W trip, are interested in going on a future trip or would like more information on W & W, join us in the fellowship @ 12:00 Noon. Bring a covered dish & dessert to share.
3/17- Men’s Prayer Group @ 7:00pm, also NMI Council Meeting @ 7:00pm.
3/22- VBS Workday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Also we will be having a Caravan activity for the 3rd & 4th grade classes. For more info contact Caterina Bartholomew.
3/23- Regular schedule of services AM/PM.
3/29- Faith Promise with Brian Helstrom-“Jesus Film,” Service @ 6:30pm followed by a dessert fellowship in the fellowshi hall.
3/30- Faith Promise continues with Brian Helstrom during our combined service @ 10:30am, followed by a Potluck Lunch @ 12:00Noon in the fellowship. Meat will be provided. If planning to attend bring a covered dish & dessert to share. Sign up sheets will be available so we can plan adquately for the meat. Please consider joing us for this time of fellowship with Brian.
