God is in control of every detail, even when circumstances derail us from the simplicity of that truth. Prayer has an amazing ability to keep us on track, while blessings encourage our hearts to keep moving forward. “Seven days without prayer makes one weak.”
10/9- After School Program 3:10pm-6:45pm @ the youth house followed by Reality Ministries from 6:45-8:00pm. Jr. High Adult Leaders are Reva Herrold & Phil Edinger. Sr. High Adult Leaders are Mike Herrold & Brooks & Nancy Zechman. We also have Adult Bible Study in the sanctuary beginning @ 7:00pm and our Caravan Program under the direction of Caterina Bartholomew begins @ 7:00pm. Caravan “Fully Trained” Theme nights are planned for 10/9, 10/16 & 10/23, at which time special devotionals are planned.
10/10- Church Board Meeting @ 7:00pm
10/11 & 10/12- Scrapbooking & Scripture will be held in the fellowship hall of our church. Friday evening session begins @ 6:00-?. Saturday session will begin @9:00am until 5:00pm in the fellowship hall. With questions contact Ginny Snook @ (570)922-1850. This is a neat way to fellowship while scrapbooking.
10/13- Regular Schedule of service @ 9:00am & 10:30am with Sunday School classes convening @ both times. We will have our Sunday evening service @ 6:00pm as Pastor Krell continues his study on I John. The teens will also be have their Hangtime, (AGN), Adopt a Grandparent Night from 6:00pm-7:15pm.
10/15- Zone Mission service @ 7:00pm with Missionaries, Jeff & Sue Myers. We are inviting those who can to join us for lunch @ 11:30am @ Carriage Corner. Each person is responsible for their own meal. If planning to attend you can sign up at the Prime Time table in the foyer or call the church office @ (570)966-0852 X22. A supper is also being planned for 5:00pm. The place T/B/A.
10/18- 55+ Prime Time Soup N Salad @ 5:30pm in the fellowship hall. Rev. Wendle Lahr is our guest speaker & “entertainer.” This is an evening of “fun, food, & fellowship.”
10/20-We are inviting our church family to help us Celebrate the Ministry of Pastor & Debbie. Pastor Appreciation will be celebrated during the 9:00am & 10:30am services. A table will be provided in the foyer for “Cards of Encouragement” or other ways you might choose to express appreciation.
10/20- A Young Adult fellowship is being planned for Sunday evening @ the home of Luke & Jessica Krell on Sodom Road in Milton. With questions, contact Luke & Jessica @ (740)398-0720.
After listening to his older sister talk on her cell phone for hours, Tyler started calling the nearby cellular phone tower the Tower of Babble.
