4/17- Our Wednesday activities begin with the After-School program from 3:15-6:45pm. Reality Student Ministries Youth Group meets from 6:45-8:00pm. Adult Bible Study begins @ 7:00pm in the sanctuary and our Caravan program also begins @ 7:00pm under the direction of Caterina Bartholomew. Tonight Caravan is having Crazy Hair & Crazy Socks night!!
4/20- VBS Workday 10:00am-2:00pm in the fellowship hall. All are invited.
4/20- Faith Promise with Rev Philip & Ruth Park from Korea. We will meet in the sanctuary @ 6:30pm followed by an informal dessert fellowship in the fellowship hall.
4/21- Faith Promise continues @ 9:00am & 10:30am. A potluck luncheon will follow @ Noon in the fellowship hall. Heather Hibbs will be leading our NMI service @ 6:00pm. Small groups will also be meeting.
4/21- District Assembly for the Philadelphia District begins @ 7:00pm at Fairview Church of the Nazarene. This is our annual meeting of the churches on the Philadelphia District. District Assembly continues on Monday @ 8:30am, concluding @ 7:00pm for the Ordination service. The NMI Convention begins on Tuesday @ 8:30am.
4/26– Reality Teens Movie/Pizza Night 6:30-10:00pm @ the Youth House
4/27- VBS Workday 10:00am-2:00pm in the fellowship hall.
4/27- Membership classes led by Pastor Krell 9:00am-12:00 Noon.
4/27- Prime Time Hobo Dinner @ 5:30pm in the fellowship hall. If you are interested and are not yet 55 years of age, you are welcome to sign up or contact Lena Susan @ 966-1480. You can dress down for this social, (Blue jeans, aprons, flannel shirts, etc.) Special entertainment. Cost is $8.25 per person.
5/2- National Day of Prayer from 7:00am-5:00pm @ the Mifflinburg Park. Our church will host a Concert of Prayer in the sanctuary @ 7:00pm.
5/5- Baby Day observed during our combined service.
5/5- Les & Linda Green Ministries will be sharing in music @ 6:00pm.The vocal duet is composed of Les Green, who sang for many years with the award winning quartet, “The Envoys,” and his wife Linda, who added her true alto voice in 1986. The Greens perform in over 200 churches, Gaither TV programs, and other special meetings, preaching and singing “The Great News of Jesus Christ” in a variety of musical styles. Invite family & friends for this evening of music ministry.
5/9- Ladies’ Banquet @ 6:30pm in our church fellowship hall. Donita Keister, Associate Pastor for Children and Pastoral Care, from the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren, will be our guest speaker. We will post more detail in next week’s announcements.
