Last week I shared the excitement of hearing the tree frogs(spring peepers) as they praised God for bringing them through another winter. Today the spring peepers are not singing!! I am sad and it reminds me of how sad God must be when we don’t praise Him. He tells us in His word that if we don’t praise Him the rocks will cry out. Let us make sure that doesn’t happen.
3/20- Wednesday activities begin with the After-School program from 3:15 until 6:45pm at the youth house. Reality Student ministries begins @ 6:45 and ends at 8:00pm. Our Caravan group will be gathering @ 6:15pm in the fellowship hall for Pizza prior to their program @ 7:00pm. Our Adult Bible Study also begins @ 7:00pm in the sanctuary.
3/22-Ladies, don’t forget our Game Night @ 7:00pm in the fellowship hall. Bring a friend, your favorite game, and a snack to share. If you don’t play games, come for fellowship. Drinks will be provided.
3/24- Our regular schedule of services @ 9:00am & 10:30am. We will be having a guest violinist, Carl Kokes, who will be ministering to us during our offering time. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt for birth thru 6th grade will be immediately following our 10:30am service. Don’t forget to bring containers for your children to place their eggs in as they find them. Join us @ 6:00pm as Pastor Krell continues his study on Jeremiah.
3/28- Communion. Come anytime between 6:30-8:30pm to the sanctuary to celebrate Holy Communion.
3/29- Reality Student Ministries will begin their 30 Hour Famine @ 12:00 Noon and continue thru 3/30 @ 7:00pm. This will be held at the Youth House. Kiss The Cow!! Support World Hunger by donating money to kiss a live cow!! Contestants include: Dianne Smith, Jeff Yount, Pastor Krell, Mike Herrold, & Lani Smith. The person collecting the most money will kiss a live cow!! Remember it takes $365.00 to feed a child for one year!
3/30- Good Friday Service @ 7:00pm in the sanctuary.
3/31- Youth- Easter breakfast @ the youth house.
3/31- Easter Worship @ 9:00am & 10:30am. Join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.
4/6- A musical presentation “The Story” by our Choir @ 7:00pm
4/7- A musical presentation “The Story” by our choir in a combined service @ 10:30am.
