God is so good!! I was awakened about 2:45am this morning to the sound of rain against the window and the spring peepers(tree frogs) singing their praises to God. What a Hallelujah chorus!! On Saturday I saw my first robin of spring. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.
3/12– Today we will be meeting missionary, Daniel Pesado. He is from Argentina and will be sharing about the work of The Church of the Nazarene in Spain. We will be having lunch @ Carriage Corner at Noon, followed by Daniel sharing @ 1:00pm.
3/13- Our After-School program begins from 3:10pm until 6:45pm at the Youth House. Reality Student Ministries meets from 6:45-8:00pm at the Youth House. Beginning @ 7:00pm we have Adult Bible Study in the sanctuary and also our Caravan group meets @ 7:00pm under the direction of Caterina Bartholomew.
3/14- Church Board Meeting @ 7:00pm
3/16– VBS Workday from 10:00am-2:00pm in the church fellowship hall. Lunch will be provided.
3/17- Regular schedule of services @ 9:00am,10:30am & 6:00pm. All Sunday School classes will be meeting as scheduled. Staff Appreciation will be observed during the morning services. Small groups will be meeting @ 6:00pm.
3/22- Ladies’ Game night @ 7:00pm in the church fellowship hall. Bring your favorite game or just come for the fellowship. You are invited to bring a snack to share. Drinks will be provided.
3/24- Children’s Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:30am service. Reality Student Ministries Hang Time @ 6:00pm at the Youth House.
3/28- Family Communion in the sanctuary from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
3/29- Good Friday service @ 7:00pm.
3/29 & 3/30- Teen 30 Hour Famine from 12:00 noon Friday – 6:00pm Saturday, at the Youth House.
3/31- Easter Worship @ 9:00am & 10:30am. Sunday School classes will meet as scheduled.
Looking Ahead:
“The Story” A Musical Presentation will be presented by our Adult Choir on Saturday evening 4/6 @ 7:00pm. It will also be presented during our combined service on Sunday, April 7th @ 10:30am. Reserve these dates on your calendar so you can join us for this time of celebrating what God has done for us.
