Good afternoon friends! I apologize for not having posts for several weeks. I just returned to the office after battling the flu. My prayers are with everyone who has been hit with the flu. If you know of someone who is ill, make a pot of chicken soup and place it on their doorstep. Make sure you let them know you the soup is on their doorstep!!
1/18-20- Reality Student Ministry Winter Jam & Winter Retreat. They will be departing from the church at 4:00pm on Friday. Winter Jam will be held at the Bryce Jordan Center on the campus of Penn State. After the Winter Jam they will be going to Timberwind for the retreat with guest speaker, Pastor Abe Williams of the Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene. They will return to the church by Noon on Sunday. Bring appropriate clothing and personal items for a 2 night stay at the lodge.
1/20- We will be having our regular schedule of services @ 9:00am & 10:30am. We will be celebrating “Sanctity of Life.” Pastor Krell will continue his sermon series on the book of Revelation with the focus for Sunday being about the Church of Ephesus, the “Distracted Church.” Join us at 6:00pm for our evening service. Small groups will also be meeting.
A Young Adult class, being led by Luke Krell, is starting on Sunday, 1/20 @ 9:00am in Room 105, Prayer Room, located in the upstairs office hallway.
Beginning today, 1/20, the Mission Council will be selling chocolate roses and chocolate covered pretzel rods to benefit future Work & Wtiness trips. To order large amounts of roses or pretzels, contact Ginny Snook @ 922-1850.
A nursery addition has been added to our church family. Steve & Kelly Reiff have a new daughter, Miley Ann, born Monday, 1/14, (8 lbs. 13 1/2 oz. & 18 1/2″ long.) We know Hayden & Tyler are very excited about their new sister. Congratulations!!
Continue to be in prayer for our Work & Witness Team as rhey serve in Belize.
