We visited a couple very old places today, both in the Aurangabad Area. The Fort was built in the 14th Century. Its massive walls and structures are very amazing. Aurangabad was the Political and Military Center of India for several centuries.. All around the city are large Stone Gates and remembrances of an old dynasty. There are two famous ancient caves in the area. Today we visited the Hindu Caves with a mountainside of temples carved out of the rocks from around 600 A.D.
We also did something very American. We ate pizza for lunch. It’s been another great day!
